Yesterday, Jeff Schumacher joined in a community wide event for children and their families at the Maysville/Mason County Tom Brownings Boys & Girls Club, called Community Day. The entire event featured multiple tables/vendors of offerings to families within the community.
There were drawings, door prizes, raffles for folks to enter into. This event was great because it allowed young people to get involved and learn what their community can do for them. Jeff believes it is important for a candidate for Circuit Judge to be out and about in their community, notably it’s important for that candidate to listen. That’s just what he did.
Students, Parents and everyone who was involved was welcome to chat with Jeff about all matters including his candidacy. He offered a few giveaways of his own. He also interacted with the social workers and case workers that were there. “We have the best case workers around, they really are passionate and put a lot of time and effort into their work,” said Jeff.
